Why I care

I am often asked why I choose to support the Ronald Mc Donald House Charities - Curacao Foundation (RMcDHC), and the answer is quite simple. I have been on the "receiving end" and as such, I know how important their work is for families who find themselves in extremely difficult times.

Since the inception of the Danny de Kort Motorsports Foundation we have set out to help and assist the RMcDHC anyway possible. At the track we have logo's on the trailer to help raise awareness. Whenever possible I always try to explain what it is they do and why it's important. With regards to their fundraising, we always make space available on this blog and write about their events and ask for support. Finally, when holding our own fundraisers, we set funds aside for them, as is the case with the sale of our Team Apparel T-shirts. With the sale of each T-shirt, we will be donating five guilders to their foundation.

So, whenever you have completed your purchase at your local Mc Donald's Restaurant and have some spare change, please deposit it in the RMcDH collection bucket. You may rest assured that your change will go towards helping families stay together in very difficult times.
