Engine's been pulled and shipped

So, this is what a caged wild animal looks like... while asleep. For its own safety it's been sedated for the duration of the voyage to Winder, Georgia!

 

Right, engine is out as you can see and it has been shipped stateside for repairs. This a normally aspirated 762 cubic inch "Sonny Leonard" Hemi engine which produces some 1575 hp. Note: this is without the use of any hairdryer or oxidizing agent.

Hopefully we will have it back in 1-2 months, in time for the big races at the end of the year.
